50th Anniversary of the mission work in Japan, Asia

We pray your heart will be touched by the Lord and that you may grow in Him as you follow Him. May you find things here to help you in your service and walk with Him!

Above all: "Please remember to PRAY for Japan!!!" This nation and its people are on God's Heart and may it be on yours also!!

Missionary/Evangelists Kenny and Lila Joseph of REAP. Mission participated In two celebrations honoring God In using them for 50 years each in Japan and Asia.

REAP stands for Reinforcing Evangelists and Aiding Preachers. Their sons and Mission chairman hosted the anniversaries.

Out of the 10,000 missionaries and evangelists who came to Japan post-war (1947-57), answering God and General Macarthur’s calls, only about 15 remain. "Retire? Resign? No, we'll re-sign...we're having the times of our lives serving Jesus -in Japan." they said.

At the downtown Tokyo 100th anniversary celebration of God using Kenny arid Lila Joseph in Japan, each participant received a free copy of the 350-page bilingual book, "Japan's Jizo and Jesus," (in English & Japanese) documenting Japan's first missionaries 1,400 years before Xavier.

As a climax, Joseph unrolled a 450-year old document naming some of the million Japanese Christians martyred for their faith during a 250-year holocaust.  "Jizo" is available from Joseph, but the Japanese-only version entitled, "Jujika no Kuni: Nippon," published by Tokuryia, is available at all 14,000 secular bookstores and already 10,000 copies have been sold. His latest major work is a trilingual color illustrated CD-Rom of 550 slides. There are 50 messages of the "Best 10" on one subject. The PowerPoint presentation has 25 messages for Christians and 25 for non-Christians.
